Here's my mask that was made today for radiation therapy. Final preparations are being made as the scans (MRI and CT simulation) needed are now both taken care of. Therapy should start in a week or two.

Oh! I am not sure if I will get to keep mine afterwards, hopefully yes. It would be a nice memento in a weird sort of way. How long has it been since your therapy? Also, how did you feel during and have you noticed any of the delayed side effects?

Good luck!

When I was through with my radiation therapy I decided to decorate and mount my mask.  It hangs in the back of my closet now.

Thanks for sharing your experience Jennifer, I really appreciate it. Glad to hear that you're feeling great overall and feeling like yourself once again. I know that things will just take time, but I can't wait to get to your point! I've made myself comfortable to the possible fatigue, sensitive skin, and the hair loss side effects and hoping it doesn't go beyond these three things.

If you end up keeping it dont put it in the attic!  I made that mistake.

I have one of these and wanted to wear it on Halloween.  My wife said "you can't wear that - you'll scare the snot out of little kids."

Ha...yeah. They'd think you were either Jason or Michael.

Scary!. There was no mask for me, in 1986. Good luck
