It's Just Benign June 2011 Email Newsletter

Hello supporters and members! I just wanted to update you on the most recent changes.

1. My fantastic webmaster, Steve, has been reorganizing the website. So it might look at little different, but it will only make things easier and better for you.

2. I am trying to build the children's area. Camps for children with brain tumors are now listed for you. Contact me if you have suggestions to grow this area.

3. Under the IJB News, there will soon be articles regarding anything brain tumor related. For ex, the debate on cell phones, celebrities diagnosed, etc.

4. Spam- I am on the website frequently enough to notice when spammers join and harass you. I delete all of the info ASAP. Please notify me about this. I can't reply to everyone but, please rest assured that I'll take care of it.

5. Down Days tab- There is a tab called Down Days that is under resources. If interested, answer how you perk yourself up on your down days. We can then try all of the suggestions.

6. Collection Cans- I have collections cans with very nice labels educating about benign brain tumors. Not only will these cans help maintain website costs, but people might learn about our quality of life issues. If interested in helping: have store manager, restaurant owner, etc. contact me. My new number is on the contact tab.

7. Board members and volunteers- I have started looking for board members. I have a neurosurgeon, a professional fund-raiser, etc. as board members already. I'd like to find a professional or two in different states who are physicians, accountants, etc. I'm open to any suggestion. Please have that person call me to discuss this further. I am also looking for volunteers to help educate about benign brain tumors and to fundraise for IJB. Email or call me if you are interested.

8.Sponsors- IJB is looking for sponsors. This is a great opportunity for new physicians, stores that ship products, or chain restaurants, etc. Anyone who can accommodate on the national level is a good candidate. I'm working on pricing now. Look at tab Why Donate under the donate tab if need help explaining IJB. Learn more on the Sponsor Page.

9. Donations- IJB has many expenses, especially if you all want to be able to meet at an IJB event or view a webinar. There are many ways IJB can help you, but reality is that donations are needed. Some expenses are for the website, webmaster for changes on site, business insurance if we meet, marketing costs for brochures, postage, etc. My local support group is finally beginning to make good connections. It feels so good to discuss how we had to stop our passions, burden our family, etc. I would love to set groups up in your area. So please help fund-raise for It's Just Benign. It's a worty cause.  It is easy to Donate using Paypal on the Donation Page.

Thank you,
