My surgery date...

Well...I finally got booked for my surgery which will be on December 8th. I am starting to breathe a sigh of relief....finally finally finally it will happen. This waiting and all these tests are sucky...is that a word? It is now lol

Surgery time!

I met my neurosurgeon today and he went over my MRI's with me in great detail....he suggested that YES surgery is needed. It looks like I might be a good candidate for *Supra-orbital Eyebrow Craniotomy* and that was very exciting news for me...He would of liked to offer me an earlier surgery date, but he is on a speech tour to different Universities throughout November and will be on a months long vacation for all of December....so....that leaves me with January of the new Year.

It's just the beginning for me......

Hi...I'm a newbie to this site, fell upon it while searching Google for some benign tumour answers - very glad I did =)

I woke one morning a year ago, the room was spinning, I had the feeling the ceiling was on the floor and the floor on the ceiling....it lasted for over an hour, I was so dizzy and ended up vomiting....I was left with tennitis in my left ear....I kept thinking, this will go away shortly....Nope, it just wasn't going away. Anyway, I'll be thinking about you and I am happy that you are going to get this part done and over with, than you can recover with your loving family around you during the holidays! In the meantime, shop like crazy to get all of your gifts and when all else fails I've found that gift cards are wonderful!! I started early and finished most of my shopping just in case I was called but no word, so probably not going until after Christmas now.
