- Aha:) Yes, I wonder about exposure to all kinds of things....coincidentally, my dad and my son have had brain tumors as well. My dad and mine were both meningiomas. He had his Gamma Knifed several years ago. My son had a grade II astrocytoma diagnosed at 12 and had it removed when he was 17. My son's was in the area yours was at, only his infiltrated his brain tissue(as it wasn't a meningioma-brain lining). He is actually studying to be an auto-mechanic:)
Mine was behind my eye, so I got a fantastic beackwards looking question mark of a scar, albeit covered w/ hair , so I'm lucky. My son's is pretty visable because it runs along , and just into his hair line in front of head. We both had ours removed by the same doc at Vanderbilt.
Do you have any seizure issues?

I won't bombard you with any more questions! A lot of folks here have alot of experience with all kinds of tumors and issues, so I'm sure you will find some answers and interaction.
