Some kind of revelation

I haven't written a blog for so long bc I wanted to avoid getting emotional. I have been to the site and I've read other blogs that blow me away. Everybody on here has had a very tough road and what everybody wants is some kind of normal. But what I've just come to realized is that "normal" is a very vague term just because that simply means completely different thing to everyone. My Success

My name is Richard Dopf.  I just joined because I, like most of you, have a benign brain tumor.  I am a retired Police Officer from New Jersey.  The story leading up to my being diagnosed with a glioma was a nightmare but the outcome after surgery hasn't been bad.  It started out in  2006 when I had an episode of flashing rolling lights in my eyes.  I brought this up to my optomitrist who did a complete eye exam and found nothing wrong.  I had a couple more of these episodes which would last… Continue

Madison Beggs up date 3/16/11 Round 3 of Chemo
