I am so happy for you that you are doing so well......am sorry that you have other health problems. This situation has also affected other things with my body. Never took meds, now it's crazy. My blood pressure is now normal, thyroid is now working and a few other things to work on. My seizures still occur with meds, but have reduced in frequency. The down side is that they are now also on my left side. I work full time, which I love but the price I pay is fatigue. After surgery and radiation, my body has a threshold for energy and then a nap is necessary. Hope this finds you well and enjoying yourself. ann

I don't consider myself a survivor yet..... I still have seizures and the tumor isn't completely gone and has the chance of growing. I say I survived surgery and radiation and hoping to someday being a survivor. I hope you are doing well. Write if you can. ann

I started IJB because I had such difficulty finding benign brain tumor survivors like myself. I'm a long-term survivor (but have many side-effects), diagnosed in 1985 at age 11. There was no support for me then, no internet, little family.

Besides connecting with survivors, we can exchange medical information here, get support from survivors like us and connect both on and offline!

There are Q&A’s with a respected neurosurgeon, nutritionist and pain specialist under the Resources tab. Please feel free to submit a question to the Doctors and they will answer!

Also there are many different groups such as religious discussions, migraines, seizures, depression and anxiety. Please feel free to start one of your own as well!
